Because sometimes you want takeout flavor on a ramen budget.
Toss that little silver seasoning packet. You don’t need it → that’s what the Cafe’s recipe testers tell me. They say you can make your own version that tastes way better—and actually has ingredients you can pronounce, like chi-kn.
Got peanut butter and soy sauce? Good. That’s your base. Add a splash of hot water, and you’ve got one rich, savory sauce ready to coat your chicken and noodles. After tasting, I’d say that is has that “I’d definitely make again” energy.
Why It’s Worth Making
- Just 5-ish ingredients → (not counting water, salt, pepper, or the optional spring onions)
- Ready in 20 minutes → flat
- Budget Friendly Noodles → chow mein, ramen – whatever’s on sale
- Comfort food → add sriracha sauce or red pepper flakes if you like heat
Way more flavor than any seasoning packet…and made with real chi-kn. 🙂
