Easy-to-make, and all natural, but does this fruit smoothie actually provide performance-enhancing benefits? Read on to find out…
This spring break skip the cheap tequila shots, and get ripped…in a good way!
A week’s worth of exercise followed by post-workout fruit smoothies could lead you towards “well-toned” greatness.
Keep in mind, taking fitness and nutrition advice from a online cafe owner who pushes both super-food smoothies and chocolate muffins is suspect at best.
But from what I have read…
- Bananas “are just as effective as sugar-laced sports drinks for refueling during exercise.”
- Oranges are packed with vitamin C, which helps the body absorb iron, “critical for transporting oxygen to the muscles”,
- And, what superstar athlete doesn’t eat avocados?
Place all three in a blender with water (good for re-hydration) and fresh grated ginger for bangin’ flavor!
Then engage your core (always important) as you blend it ALL together. 😉
Sounds like a performance-enhancing smoothie to me!
With that said, there is no bulletproof evidence that this fruit smoothie will improve your performance in any way possible.
But I will guarantee you this >> it tastes 100 times better than cheap tequila shots.
Blend away…and get ripped!!!
