From a poll we took at the Café, we found that past students would made more salads if they had of known about the Wedge Salad.
No Chopping, Washing or Drying Lettuce
Iceberg lettuce is a gift from the leafy vegetable gods. What it lacks in nutrition, it makes up for in convenience.
Simply peel away the outside leaves that are wilted, cut it in half and slice off a wedge for your salad.

A wedge of iceberg lettuce is like a blank canvas; top it with whatever you think would make it delicious!
Feta cheese, sliced olives, and turkey-bacon are all tasty topping options.

MAKES: 1 Salad
INGREDIENTS
- 2 (or 6) slices cooked bacon
- 1 wedge cut from a head of iceberg lettuce
- 1/4 red onion, very thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup store-bought croutons
- 1 slice Havarti cheese, crumbled into smaller pieces
- 2 tablespoons low-fat Ranch dressing
- black pepper
HOW TO MAKE
- Chop cooked bacon into 1-inch pieces.
- Slice a wedge off a head of iceberg lettuce. Set on a plate
- Top lettuce with bacon, onions, croutons and cheese.
- Drizzle on Ranch dressing and season with black pepper.
