Two A+ Recipes For Exams: Coffee Mug Omelet or Minestrone in Minutes?

Exam season is probably NOT the best time to neglect sleep-deprived brain cells of vital nutrients.

And no, the tiny freeze-dried vegetables in Mr. Noodles don’t qualify as nutrition. 😢

But the two A+ recipes below do.

One is uber-healthy and calming. The other is protein-packed for long-lasting energy and focus.

We’ll lay out the recipes. You decide which one might work best to help you crush the next final exam placed in front of you!

Minestrone in Minutes 🕛

Slurping a soup like Mr. Noodles may not be enough to push brain cells to the top of their game, but we can change that in one swoop.

Enter the frozen bag of chopped vegetables for spaghetti sauce – that should NEVER be used in spaghetti sauce. That would be just wrong.

Diced frozen vegetables make cooking at college or university easier.

However, they are a perfect addition to make Mr. Noodles instantly more nutritious or to whip together your own Minestrone in Minutes. Here is what you need:

  • 2 cups frozen cheese ravioli (or any pasta)
  • 1 tsp olive oil (or vegetable oil)
  • 2 cups diced frozen vegetables
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 can (18 oz / 540 ml) stewed tomatoes
  • 3 cups vegetable or chicken broth  salt and pepper
