FOR YEARS WE COOKED ALONGSIDE STUDENTS
Our events were popular because what student doesn’t LOVE free food!

THEIR FEEDBACK?

Turns out undergrad and graduate students wanted more than free food. They wanted three things:
ONE: How to master quick, budget-friendly, yet impressive meals.
TWO: How to make the best use of ingredients on-hand.
THREE: How to fix a cooking situation when things don’t go as planned.
THEN WE DROPPED THE BALL
By being long-winded with our solutions to the above ⬆️, rather than getting to the point. 😱

WHAT’S CHANGED

Now, we focus on what you might have on-hand and reimagine how to use them in 6-ingredient recipes that can be plated on a tight budget and schedule.
Oh yeah, we also stopped writing long-winded posts. If you like to read long blog posts, then the Café probably isn’t for you.
WHAT’S THE SAME?
While most food sites are cluttered in ads…
We like the to keep the Café free of that kind of clutter.
So the focus is 100% on recipes to Master Your B.E.W ( Bachelor of Eating Well) – even on your busiest day.

WHAT’S A B.E.W?

There has never been a formally recognized Bachelor of Eating Well (B.E.W) degree at a traditional college or university (that we know of).
However, your B.E.W is something friends, significant others, and most importantly YOU, will recognize the benefits from right away!
NOW LET’S START COOKING!

Hi, have you thought of writing a cookbook for young adults 20 to 30 yrs of age? I have looked all over and have not found something simple. There is a man a can a plan version but it has so many unhealthy recipes. I have two boys that need a lot of basic instruction and pictures to complete recipes. What I have been looking for are easy recipes with common ingredients and lots of pictures. LK
Hi Laura. Thanks for your comment! I haven’t thought of writing a cookbook for that group and it’s a great idea! Not sure if you think the recipes (and pictures) I post here will benefit your boys but I’ll have a cup of Easy Dinner Recipes available in late August that’ll have the same look and feel. Here’s where you’ll find further details about it… https://collegerecipecafe.com/easy-college-dinners/
