Here at the Café, we love when we can offer another nourishing way for you to begin your day. To feel energized! To feel satisfied! To feel like you have an extra boost of instant energy!
However, when a smoothie includes kale (like this one does), there is the risk of kale bragging.
As comedian Jim Gaffigan has jokingly pointed out…nobody likes kale bragger. As in: “I just ate kale.”

Frozen kale is easy to blend into green smoothies. It has a long storage life and decreases the chance of greenery getting embarrassingly trapped in teeth.
Blend the evening before. Shake in the morning. Sip before heading out the door.
Enjoy the morning boost! But please. No kale bragging. 😉
Happy Cooking!
