Guilt free chocolate? Sounds a bit overboard, doesn’t it?
Here at the Cafe we actually consider this energy-boosting Chocolate Smoothie pretty damn healthy when compared to many chocolate alternatives.

Chocolate bars. Chocolate cake. Chocolate ice cream. Love them all – although there is a tinge of guilt whenever I inhale (yes, inhale) any of these chocolaty treats.
Somehow sipping this delicious chocolate smoothie is different.
Maybe because it is blended with the healthiest fruit on the planet (avocado). Along with chocolate’s vitamin-C-rich B.F.F (strawberries). Let’s not forget the potassium-packed banana used to make this smoothie extra thick.
Suddenly, chocolate starts to look pretty freakin’ healthy!
Did I mention that this smoothie will keep you fueled for hours? Yeah, avocado is a slow burn type of food so it will keep you feeling full for a longer amount of time.
Dieticians (or aspiring dieticians) back me up on this…please. 🙏

Makes: 1 Smoothie ~ Cost: $1.53 ~ Time: About 5 minutes
Ingredients
1 cup chocolate milk / $0.58
1/2 avocado / $0.40
3 medium fresh or frozen strawberries / $0.30
1/2 banana / $0.25
Putting it Together
Place avocado, strawberries and banana in the blender. Pour in chocolate milk.
Blend until smooth.
