Hi c’mon in! I’m gearing up for the final weekend of March Madness! How about you?
Even if you’re not a basketball fan it’s exciting if your school is in the final four. What could be better than getting together with friends to cheer on your team whether you paying attention to the game or not.
Today I have a Final Four Pizza “Fun-Due” recipe to satisfy your pizza fix while watching the games! It’s half the price of ordering pizza, more social to eat, and takes minimal effort to make!
How to Make
All you need is pizza sauce, cheese and pepperoni slices.
To make the “fun-due”, pour pizza sauce in an oven-proof bowl, stir in grated Parmesan cheese and top it with shredded mozzarella and pepperoni slices. That’s it!
How to Cook
You have a couple options on how to cook your Pizza “Fun-Due” and each will give you different results.
If you cook it in the microwave on HIGH for 30 seconds, the cheese will melt into the sauce. Or you can set it under the broiler in the oven (or toaster oven) for 3 to 5 minutes and the cheese will bake on top like French onion soup. Either way is delicious!
*Caution – If you’re using the oven (or toaster-oven) method the dish is going to be super-hot. It’s easy to forget so be careful.
The last step is deciding what dippers to dip in it. Options include bread sticks, sliced bell peppers and cubed pineapple. Enjoy!
