Egg Roll In a Bowl
Recipe from: Should I Cook It Or Just Order In? Episode #8
Makes: 2 to 4 Servings | Prep Time: About 5 Minutes | Total Time: About 15 minutes
INGREDIENTS
- ½ lb (226 g) ground beef (or use ground pork or chicken)
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon fresh grated ginger (or ¼ tsp ground ginger)
- 1½ cups store-bought coleslaw mix
- 2 cups cooked rice (optional)
HOW TO MAKE
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add beef. Cook and stir until beef is browned and fully cooked through. Drain excess fat. Reduce heat to medium. Add soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, and coleslaw. Cook and stir until coleslaw begins to soften. About 2 to 3 minutes. Remove from heat.
Serve over cooked rice (is using) and add a splash of extra soy sauce or sriracha
