BUFFALO CHICKEN SLOPPY JOE’S


Makes: 4 Sandwiches ~ Time: About 15 minutes

Ingredients

1 lb extra lean ground chicken
1 can (7.5 oz / 213 ml) traditional pizza sauce
1 can (4.3 oz / 127 ml) chopped green chilies
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 Tbsp. Frank’s Buffalo Wing Sauce
1/4 cup low-fat Ranch Salad dressing (or Blue Cheese dressing)
1/2 cup grated carrot (optional)
4 sesame seed hamburger buns

Steps

In a large skillet, cook ground chicken over medium-high until it is fully cooked through and no longer pink, about 6 to 7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.  Reduce heat to low. Stir in pizza sauce, green chilies, sugar and wing sauce. Stir to combine with cooked chicken. 

Toast hamburger buns (optional). Top each bottom half of toasted buns with equal amounts of chicken mixture. Top each with equal amounts of dressing and grated carrot. Place each top half of toasted buns on top. Enjoy!
