These 6-Ingredient Pork Lettuce Wraps are the type of eats I imagine you’d find in a late-night alley in Bangkok. Except in this case, it’s you, at your own stove, making something fast, and deeply satisfying.
And, it all started with extra pan-fried pork in the fridge…⬇️
As you can see from the video, the prep is easy.
Brown some pork with onions. Toss in the hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, and fresh pineapple to create a sweet, sticky, and saucy filling. Then liberally spoon onto the 6th ingredient – a crisp leaf of lettuce!

SWEET & STICKY PORK LETTUCE WRAPS

Makes: About 4 Wraps | Prep Time: About 10 Minutes | Total Time: About 15 minutes
6-INGREDIENTS
- ½ lb. (8 oz.) ground pork
- ¼ onion, chopped
- 1/3 cup hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
- ½ cup diced fresh pineapple
- 3 or 4 lettuce leaves
Extras (Optional)
- Pinch or two crushed red pepper flakes
- ½ tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
HOW TO MAKE
- In a skillet, cook ground pork and onion over medium heat until pork is fully cooked. Reduce heat to low. Stir in hoisin sauce and rice wine vinegar. Add pineapple and red pepper flakes (if using). Stir to combine.
- Spoon equal amounts of pork mixture in the middle of each lettuce leaf. Top each with equal amounts of cilantro (if using). Enjoy!
