Whether you are living (or about the to live) the dream at college, or have entered the adulting stage of life beyond campus, College Recipe Cafe has you covered for easy recipes and basic cooking techniques to cook ridiculously delicious food – even on your busiest days!
Hi, I’m Brent Garell – owner of this small piece of online real estate. Instead of serving pastries and sweets, I like to take easy ho-hum recipes and breathe new life into those old standbys, with the least mess possible. I don’t like doing dishes.
What I love best, (besides skiing, windsurfing and cheesy slapstick comedy movies) is to give my readers a BIG head-start in the kitchen by sharing cooking techniques that no one EVER bothers to tell you.
It’s like skiing for the first time with your friends. No one bothers to mention that it would be easier to slide straight across the hill, from one side to the other, rather than down the hill. Wha-what!!!
You’ll find cooking tips and tricks, like how to brown chicken breast in the skillet, scattered throughout the Café.
With that said, my best tips are in the Weekly Updates.
And, for the fastest route to hone your cooking skills, check out my online cooking school Cooking Pro Jumpstart. I’ll save you time!
Every Tuesday, you’ll find a fresh new recipe posted here at CollegeRecipeCafe.com on the recipe menu.
On Wednesday’s, I select an “Easy Recipe” from either the Café or a recipe I’ve tried and liked from someone else, and post a video about it my YouTube Channel in the “Brent’s Easy Recipes” Playlist.
Every Friday, the Weekly Update goes out to subscribers with the goal to keep them well fed and well informed about ways to make their time in the kitchen more manageable and fun! Click here to subscribe.
