The experts tell us a healthy breakfast is the most IMPORTANT meal of the day.
These two forlorn and pale looking toasted frozen waffles may be considered breakfast, however they hardly resemble an “important” meal.
Be that as it may, if we call upon a few flavorful friends from the fridge and freezer we can easily make these gloomy waffles look enticing.
Avocado slices, crumbled feta, and sweet red raspberries are the fixings I selected to make the two waffles resemble a more interesting first meal of the day.
Of course no waffle is complete without a shower of immaculate maple syrup. And, yes I just used the word “immaculate” to describe syrup. 😮
Bounce a second toasted frozen waffle on top and you have a sweet and salty breakfast sandwich to start the day soundly!
Now that looks more like “the most important meal of the day”, wouldn’t you say?
